Furgerson's Garage is a AAA-Approved, family-owned and operated state-of-the-art auto repair, smog station in Encinitas CA, that services nearly all models of cars, SUVs, and light trucks, including hybrids and electric vehicles. Our skilled technicians have over 20 years of experience in the auto repair industry. We specialize in foreign and domestic vehicles and use the latest diagnostic tools to accurately identify and fix any issues.
As part of our commitment to our community and to the environment, we have partnered with World Environmental to pick up and dispose of our waste oil and filters, Interstate Battery to recycle our waste batteries, and Reliable Tire to recycle our used tires.
Furgerson's Garage is not only a STAR Smog Station, but we are the leading school (Furgerson's Automotive and Smog Training) in San Diego that trains mechanics to become CA licensed smog test and repair inspectors.

Need a ride home or to work?
We got you! Furgerson's Garage has partnered with Uber for Business and is pleased to arrange local rides to and from our shop at no cost to our customers.
We also have an "early-bird drop off" service for our customers' convenience. You simply: lock your vehicle outside in front of our shop; fill out one of the early-bird forms available at our office box; put the form and your keys in the envelope provided, and push the envelope through the mail slot in the office door. We'll see your request on the form and contact you in the morning.
Furgerson's Garage is a California-licensed STAR Smog Test and Repair Station. We've attained this status by meeting high performance standards established by the Bureau of Automotive Repair and we are dedicated to continuing California's efforts to further improve the quality of air Californians breathe.
